Motherhood is a Journey: Here’s What I’ve Learned

The biggest lesson that motherhood has taught me is to give more grace. I have learned to let go of this idea that I’m going to be a perfect mother. I’m going to make mistakes. I’m going to fail. Really great things happen when I can forgive myself for that, or ask for my kids’ forgiveness when I need to. I actually get the opportunity to show my kids how to fail and make mistakes and learn from them. Read the full story.

Three Sisters Empower Women With Their Products

What first drew me to the Caden sisters. Sisterpeneurs and founders of Belly Bandit and Proof created two mission-based companies. Their mission: to design garments and underwear for women tired of feeling insecure after giving birth, wanting to be confident in the face of unexpected leaks, and needing to feel good about their bodies. Both companies were the product (no pun intended) of real-life challenges!

Jodi, Cari, and Lori are breaking barriers that often hold women hostage and doing it together!

Stop Telling Women to ‘Be Less Emotional’

To change our perceptions of women, who they should be, and how they should express themselves, we first must understand why it's so damaging to tell people to be 'less emotional.' We women cannot advance the archaic, sexist institutional behaviors that lay like a layer of ice over our emotionally numb hearts without re-finding our emotions, our instincts, and our power through sensitive thoughts and actions! Keep Your Promises as a Working Mom in 2021

2020 was a year of chaotic change, and 2021 will be the year of intentional transition. On Turning 39 Years Old: An Open Letter

I'm a 39-year-old woman. I'm flawed. I don't love everyone and everything, and not everyone loves me. I am getting wrinkles, and I refuse to give up wine -- even though it might make me skinnier. Being a Mom, Entrepreneur, and Product Designer

I had my daughter in 2016 and realized there were not many swimwear options that were both premium quality and eco-conscious. I wanted to create a brand that had the colors, prints, and style of something I would wear but made for my kids. That’s how the brand was born!
